Perceptual Technology

Perceptual technology will accord with the data structures and processes of information exchange that play out within the phenomenon of vision. The technology will reflect and account for the physics and biophysics that help to give rise to the saliency of the phenomenon.  In addition, depth-mapping and eye-tracking will factor an individual’s body and intentioned gaze patterns into any simulator technology. Issues relating to perceptual structure will apply to all the senses including audition.  It is highly likely therefore, that the development of these technologies will also inform our understanding of neuro/glial science, the organisation of the brain and interoception.

It has been established that Vision-Space will profoundly change the way we construct, present and interface with information display systems, from print advertising media to simulators. In addition, we will learn how to feed a new order of information into our sensory apparatus to optimise the communication of information and speed of comprehension.  A new reading and writing paradigm will emerge.

From TRIZ evaluation – Perceptual structure will inform all forms of artificial stimuli
